Transogard Epoxy Ester 1.31 is a one-component modified fast-drying epoxy ester primer containing special anti-rust pigments; the paint film dries quickly, is tough, has strong adhesion, has excellent anti-rust properties and good construction performance. It can be used as a universal primer for alkyd paint, chlorinated rubber paint, acrylic paint or polyurethane paint, and is applied to steel and metal surfaces in slightly to moderately corrosive atmospheric environments.

The product is used in ship ballast water tanks and has passed the factory approval of China Classification Society (CCS) in accordance with IMO MSC . 215(82) specifications .
